You Are The Change

Deep, meaningful change can and will occur when we shift our perception of change.

Where there is a beginning, there is an experience ready to be shared, wisdom to wade through, a moment to unpack, and a path to be discovered. And change is typically the catalyst for new beginnings.

It's safe to say that longing for change in the world is a common want, need, and feeling.

Longing to be loved, seen, and heard.

Longing to create, be understood, and cherished.

Longing to forget, forgive, and be forgiven.

Longing to halt the fighting, embrace kindness, and share compassion.

And yet, we sit and wait.

Wait for the perfect time - which never arrives.

Wait out of fear, lack of confidence, and indecision.

Wait for another to change because we are unwilling to embrace the choices we have to make the changes necessary for us to thrive forward.

Have you ever added how much of your time you've spent waiting for someone else to change? And whom are you waiting on to make changes so that your life is more comfortable?

Ponder this for a moment.

Are you waiting on a spouse/partner, child, parent, co-worker, boss, clergy, teacher, administrator, politician, neighbor, friend, city council member, animal, stranger, etc., to change?

Now, imagine how many people are and have been waiting for you to change.

Yikes, the list of people you've been waiting on and others waiting on you to change mirrors one another for different reasons, yet probably the same.

The common denominator is change, and it all begins with you.
